Located in La Jolla, the jewel of Southern California, Torrey Pines Golf Course sits atop the coastal cliffs with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Recognized as the premier municipally owned golf course, Torrey Pines offers two picturesque and widely recognizable championship, 18-hole golf courses. The most memorable modern-day U.S. Open Championship took place at Torrey Pines in 2008, when, under the grueling conditions of this major tournament, an injured Tiger Woods defeated Rocco Mediate during their sudden-death playoff after 90 holes.
Our group will play the Torrey Pines North and South Courses and the legendary La Costa. We'll stay at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, a AAA Five Diamond La Jolla hotel located just 15 miles north of downtown San Diego. Overlooking the courses, with distant views of the Pacific Ocean, our Craftsman-style resort was designed to blend in with the adjacent Torrey Pines State Reserve, which features golden sandstone formations and rare Torrey pine trees.
